VILLAGE / TOWN PROGRAMME:

Village programme plays an important role in the spreading of the holy name .when a particular place is decided a devotee from our temple goes to that place and makes arrangement for the programme such as publicity, pandal and stage setting, Prasadam preparation etc. This he does with the help of local people .Any local person is given opportunity to sponsor for the programme. On the particular day 50 to 100 devotees (congregation & full time) go to the place. From there they start Nagara Sankirtan walking through the main streets and junctions of the place, all the devotees along with local residents who joined them, chant the Hare Krishna Mantra loudly. Devotees sing and dance for the holy name all over the procession .After about one and half hour of congregational chanting all the devotees return to the pandal. After all the residents and devotees take their places, ISKCON Rajahmundry temple president Sriman Satya Gopinath prabhu lecturers on Bhagavat Gita .It is followed by Prasadam distribution. Devotees distribute books throughout Nagara Sankirtan programme
